2006年之前的农村、城镇人口分别为公安户籍统计的农业、非农业人口。
2.根据第七次人口普查结果，对全省2011-2019年年末总人口进行了修订。
3.2020年为根据第七次人口普查数据推算年末人口数。
a) Data of 1990、2000 and 2010 are based on the national population census,and others are based on the sample surveys.Data in the brackets are
taken from the annual reports of the Public Security Departments and the statistical time point is 24:00 on November 30th every year.Before 2006,
the rural and urban population are respectively the agriculture population, non-agricultural population from the Public Security Departments.
b) According to the Seventh National Census, the data of total population from 2011 to 2019 of Shandong have been revised.
c) Data of 2020 are calculated according to the data of the Seventh National Census.
